Roslina Abdul Rahman was appointed to the Board of Directors of VCAP Asset Managers Sdn. Bhd. (“VCAM”) as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 1st August 2018. She is the Group Chief Executive Officer of ValueCAP.
Prior to joining ValueCAP, Roslina was the Managing Director of Amundi Malaysia and Director of Amundi Islamic Malaysia. Roslina joined Amundi Malaysia in 2008, prior to which she held fund management roles at CIMB-Principal Asset Management from 2004 to 2008 and served across various units of AMMB Holdings Berhad – namely AmInvestment Management, Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank/Arab-Malaysian Asset Management Berhad, and Arab-Malaysian Unit Trusts Berhad – from 1990 to 2004.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration from the Australia Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales.
Taufiq Iskandar Jamingan was appointed as Non-Independent Executive Director / Chief Executive Officer of VCAP Asset Managers Sdn. Bhd. (“VCAM”) on 23rd May 2018.
Before he joins VCAM, he was recently the Director and Head of Equity at Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (“KWAP”). Taufiq has more than 11 years of experience in equity investments, tasked to maximize long term returns through investments in both domestic and international markets.
Before returning to Malaysia, he was the Principal Officer of Prima Ekuiti (UK) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of KWAP in London. Over there, he led the establishment in areas of strategic development and implementation of its corporate strategic plans while ensuring sustainable investment and corporate returns.
From his initial background of portfolio management at Permodalan Nasional Berhad (“PNB”), Malaysia’s leading unit trust company, Taufiq built his experience in investment, particularly in international equities.
Siti Safinah Salleh was appointed to the Board of Directors of VCAP Asset Managers Sdn. Bhd. (“VCAM”) as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on 23 August 2017.
Safinah is a Senior Vice President in the Managing Director’s Office of Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”). She oversees corporate planning and portfolio strategy, including sustainability and responsible investments.
Prior to Khazanah, Safinah has been in various strategic roles within the technology, telecommunications, and government sector. She holds a Bachelor of IT from Multimedia University and an MBA from Universiti Teknology Malaysia.
